Figure 1 1. Attach the red wire to the reverse light feed (+) 2. Attach the blue (or yellow/orange) wire to the tail light (or side lamp) feed (+) 3. The black wire is attached to the bracket, which should be fixed to a well grounded point on the car body. If you want to fix the alarm to a plastic surface, disconnect the black wire from the bracket and attach it to a metal part of the body. Make sure that there is continuity between the black wire and the body (earth) Figure 2. Use this diagram to fit an override switch to disable the alarm. The blue (or yellow/orange) wire is routed through a switch before being connected to the side light.
