Self-stripping wire connector  Ref: CLS1045

Slip the connector over the existing cable without cutting it, shown blue here, place the new cable, shown red, into the connector alongside the original, squeeze the tin plated brass terminal with pliers and fold over the cover to lock. That's all there is to making a sound, securely insulated, permanent connection.
