The mirror hangs down from the top of the door by about 90mm to the centre of the mirror, which is 100mm Ø, and the dimensions of the clamp are: Width: 31mm Maximum clearance of the jaw without pads: 6mm Rubber pad thickness (both): 4.5mm Uncompressed Clearance with pads in place: 1.5mm Uncompressed Gap required between door and body: 2.5mm With the pads Uncompressed about 4 to 6mm clearance is required between the door flange and the body. This is usually afforded by the rubber door seal.
